Building regulations

Local building regulations and building regulations of the federal states: In Germany and the EU, there are no standardised regulations for the planning and execution of building and underground construction. The European standards and other requirements apply, which may vary from state to state in Germany. Planners and users must observe the information in these installation instructions and the locally applicable building regulations.

In Germany, please observe the building regulations of the federal states (based on the Model Building Code [MBO]) and the technical building regulations of the federal states (based on the Model Administrative Provisions – Technical Building Rules [MVV TB]).

Outside Germany, the relevant country-specific regulations must be observed during planning and application.
