Intended use

DAR axial duct fans are used in commercial and industrial ventilation. Areas of application include ducted systems that require a large air flow with a relatively low pressure drop (ventilation and cooling systems in industry, shipping, commerce or in civil/energy sectors). Any other use or use that goes beyond this is considered improper use.

The DAR series consists of different type variants with nominal widths 630 to 1600 mm and motors of different polarity and power. DAR fans are powerful and suitable for large air volumes.

Operation of the DAR is only permissible:

• for a permanent installation within a duct system (any installation position);
• when mounted on walls or ceilings with sufficient load-bearing capacity → accessories at www.maico-ventilatroren.com;
• with permanent electrical installation;
• with sufficiently dimensioned vibration damping measures;
• if flexible couplings are fitted between the DAR and the duct system;
• with protection against accidental contact in accordance with EN ISO 13857, e.g. with SGRI or SGCI protective grille, fitted if there is a free inlet.
