Preparation for installation

CAUTION Risk of cuts from metal housing plates with sharp edges.

  1. Wear personal protective equipment (cut-resistant gloves) for installation.

Always note the relevant specifications for electrical installations and when fitting equipment. In Germany, observe DIN VDE 0100 and the corresponding parts in particular.

  1. Ensure a level support surface for the steel wall ring [1].
  2. Lay the power cable to the installation site.
  3. Mount a protective grille in front of the unit if the air inlet or outlet is not covered.
  4. Ensure a sufficient supply air intake.
