Installation
- Only mount the fan in locations with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Mounting material of sufficient size should be provided by the customer.
- Degree of protection IP X4 is not fulfilled if the ventilation duct on the exhaust side points directly upwards and no duct bend is fitted to prevent the addition of moisture.
- Risks of leakages if unit is not sealed tightly enough. Firmly screw fan down with all screws. Fit suitable insulation, sound-absorbing and installation materials.
- Attach the matching FUR mounting feet to the fan using the enclosed mounting material → FUR mounting instructions.
- Mount the fan unit on the wall, ceiling or on a bracket using the FUR mounting foot. Make sure that the terminal box is freely accessible.
- Push the folded spiral-seams ducts, that match the diameter of the connection sockets, on the inlet and outlet side onto the two connection sockets. If necessary, fit ELR flexible fixing cuffs to the connection socket beforehand.
- On both sides of the fan, fasten the folded spiral-seams ducts to the connection socket with a flexible fixing cuff.
- Fit suitable insulation, sound-absorbing and installation materials.
