Leakage with unauthorised ventilation ducts.

  1. Only use approved MAICO flexible ducts, type MF-F.

Leakage from distorted ventilation ducts.

  1. Ensure distortion-free installation
  2. Insert the ventilation ducts vertically into the air distributor as far as they will go. When plugging in, listen for a triple click (3x click).
  1. Ensure a level surface at the installation site.

  2. Risk of injury due to inadequate fastening!

    1. Provide mounting material of sufficient size.
  3. Screw the air distributor to the wall, ceiling or a bracket using suitable mounting material. Fasten the air distributor in a suspended ceiling with 3 or 4 fastening elements (e.g. threaded rods Fig. A).
  4. Insert the flexible ducts [6] of the duct branch vertically into the connection openings [3] of the air distributor as far as they will go.

In the case of a bent flexible duct, attach a mounting clamp near the distributor. Bend the flexible duct only after the mounting clamp.

  1. Insert the flexible duct(s) into the mounting clamp(s) and fasten.
  2. Close unused air distributor openings with sealing plugs [5].
  3. Push the DN 160 folded spiral-seams duct directly over the housing connection [2] and seal it additionally. Use the optional plug connector [7] for DN 125 folded spiral-seams duct Fig. F.
