Radio operation with RC ventilation units
- Operation only with EnOcean radio components.
- After activating the radio mode (specialist installer), the EnOcean radio components can be directly taught-in/deleted on the ventilation unit.
- For range of radio components → Technical data.
- Repeater function (signal amplification) in the RC ventilation unit for EnOcean radio sensors and EnOcean radio switches with EEP protocol. No signal amplification between PP 45 RC and PPB 30 RC units as internal unit protocol.
- RC receivers are PP 45 RC, PPB 30 RC, PP 45 EO
- RC transmitters are PP 45 RC, PPB 30 RC, DS 45 RC, PP 45 EO
Permissible unit combinations A or B
A) System with DS 45 RC and PP 45/PPB 30 RC
- DS 45 RC radio switch
- PP 45 RC ventilation units (master or slave)
- PPB 30 RC ventilation units (master or slave)
B) System with RLS 45 K, PP 45 EO and PP 45/PPB 30 RC
- RLS 45 K room air control (master)
- RS 485 bus
- PP 45 EO, EnOcean radio module, wired
- PP 45 RC ventilation unit
- PPB 30 RC ventilation unit
Meaning of the LEDs

LED | Meaning |
Orange | The orange LED blinks when selecting the operating mode Heat Recovery x times (x = selected ventilation level). Example: flashes 3x = ventilation level 3. When selecting the demand-driven automatic operation , the LED lights up for 5 seconds. |
Blue | The blue LED flashes when the operating mode cross ventilation operation is selected x times (x = selected ventilation level). For ventilation in one airflow direction. Also suitable for intensive ventilation. Example: flashes 5x = ventilation level 5. When selecting the demand-driven automatic operation, the LED lights up for 5 seconds. In exhaust air mode, the LED lights up 2x for 2 seconds. |
Red | Filter change indicator: The vertical LEDs flash → Filter changes, unit cleaning. Acknowledge the filter change. To do this, press the SET button on each RC ventilation unit for 5 seconds. |
