Teaching-in slave to master

Procedure: Determine a pair of units. Teach in slave ventilation unit on master ventilation unit. Only then teach in the radio switch and radio sensors.

A ventilation unit automatically becomes the master when it is set to receive mode and receives a teach-in telegram from a slave device. The slave device receives its commands exclusively from the taught-in master unit.

Only one slave unit of the same type can be assigned to each master ventilation unit. Except in the case of systems with PP 45 RC device pairs + PPB 30 RC. Here, the additional teaching-in of the PPB 30 RC into the PP 45 RC master unit is possible.

  1. Remove ventilation unit front cover.
  2. Activate teach-in mode on the master: Press the teach-in button "LEARN" (2 seconds) until all 3 LEDs flash. Within the next 120 seconds, the master must receive a teach-in telegram.
  3. Activate teach-in mode on the slave: Press the teach-in button "LEARN" (2 seconds) until all 3 LEDs flash.
  4. Activate Send-teach modeon the slave: Press the teach-in button "LEARN" briefly 1x. The 3 LEDs on the slave flash once and then switch off (periodic process).
  5. Send teach-in telegram to the slave: Press and hold the teach-in button "LEARN" for approximately 5 seconds until the LEDs on the slave device briefly flash and then turn off.
  6. Wait 30 to 40 seconds: All LEDs on the master and on the slave switch off.

When a teach-in telegram is correctly received, teach-in mode is exited by the receiver and transmitter.

If, however, the 3 LEDs on the master unit continue to flash, the teach-in telegram has not been received by the master. Repeat the teach process.

  1. Briefly switch on PP 45 RC to open the shutter in the unit. With the shutter open, attach the front cover. The cover must click into place.
  2. Carry out a function test.
