Setting signal amplification (repeater)

The repeater function (signal amplification) is available for EnOcean radio sensors and radio switches with EEP protocol. Between the PP 45 and PPB 30 ventilation units, no signal amplification is possible (internal unit protocol).

Setting values

• Off
• Level 1: Original telegrams are amplified
• Level 2: Original telegrams, as well as telegrams that have already been amplified, are amplified.

Switching on signal amplifier

  1. Activate teach-in mode on the master unit (receiver). The 3 LEDs flash.
  2. Press the teach-in button LEARN briefly 3 times. The 3 LEDs flash 3 times and then the red LED flashes once (periodic process).
  1. The Repeater sub-menu (→ TEACH mode programme overview) is activated. The basic setting is Repeater OFF.
  1. Press the teach-in button LEARN briefly x times.
  1. Press 1x: Repeater level 1, 3 LEDs flash 3 times and then the red LED flashes 2 times.
  2. Press 2x: Repeater level 2, 3 LEDs flash 3 times and then the red LED flashes 3 times.
  3. When the button is pressed 3x, the loop starts again from Repeater OFF.
  1. Press the teach-in button LEARN (≥ 5 seconds) until the LEDs on the ventilation unit light up for an extended period. The setting is saved.
