Connection advice

• Only use approved connection cables, see chapter 5.
• Only carry out the electrical connection in accordance with the connection and wiring diagrams in the associated final installation kit instructions.
• Install the RLS 45 control in a deep flush-mounted box. Always use a deep or double flush-mounted box for wiring several accessory components.
• Strip the connection cables sufficiently.
• Wire the enclosed connector plug to the control cable (see plug sticker).
• Imbalance may arise if the maximum stated cable lengths are exceeded. Observe installation requirements relating to cable lengths and types.
• Permissible cable length can be extended with the PP 45 LT power unit or with RLS 45 K/O slaves.
• PP/PPB/RV 2 ventilation units and RLS 45 K/O controls must only be used outside protection zones 0, 1 and 2. Protect them from moisture and wetness.
  The ventilation units and RLS 45 controls are not suitable for outdoor areas.
