Operation
- People with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or a lack of knowledge, must only operate the ventilation unit if they are properly supervised or have been given appropriate instruction by a competent person regarding the hazards involved. This also applies to children.
- Switch the ventilation unit off immediately if it is damaged, especially if you discover damage or faults that could endanger persons or property. Prevent further use until the unit has been completely repaired.
- Switch off the ventilation unit in the event of a fire or if there is smoke or fumes in the vicinity → Danger to life from toxic gases and smoke due to severe respiratory injuries. Before switching the power back on, wait until the outside air is safe again. On PP 45 O units, the dampers must be closed manually.
- Only operate the ventilation unit once it has been fully installed (including the air filter) → Risk of injury if installation is incomplete. Health risks from infections/respiratory diseases caused by contamination and unfiltered substances when operating without air filters or with inadequate ones.
- Only operate the ventilation unit if it has been correctly adjusted by qualified personnel → Health risks (eye irritation, colds, allergies) if operated with incorrect unit settings.
