Required qualifications for installation work

The ventilation unit may only be installed, set up, retrofitted, commissioned, cleaned, maintained or repaired by installers specialised in ventilation technology. Electrical connection, commissioning, maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with DGUV regulation 3, Section 2 (3) and in compliance with the relevant standards (e.g. DIN EN 50110-1) and technical rules. Further provisions of other national laws must be taken into account.

Required qualifications, prerequisites:
Specialist training with knowledge of technical standards, EU directives and EU regulations is mandatory. Installations are to be carried out professionally in accordance with the planning documents and the enclosed installation, assembly or operating instructions.

The persons must be instructed in health and safety requirements for their area. A school-leaving certificate with good national language skills is required.
