Required qualifications for installation work

The ventilation unit may only be installed, set up, retrofitted, commissioned, cleaned, maintained or repaired by installers specialised in ventilation technology. Electrical connection, commissioning, maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with DGUV regulation 3, Section 2 (3) and in compliance with the relevant standards (e.g. DIN EN 50110-1) and technical rules. Further provisions of other national laws must be taken into account.

Qualifications/requirements: Specialist training and knowledge of technical standards, EU Directives and EU Ordinances. Installations are to be carried out professionally in accordance with the planning documents and the enclosed operating instructions. During installation, cleaning and maintenance work, observe the applicable accident prevention regulations, occupational health and safety measures (protective clothing in good repair, etc.).
