Installation instructions

NOTICE Before installing the RV 2 external cover, check that the RV 2 mounting sleeve is installed correctly, see the RV 2 pre-installation kit instructions. If the mounting sleeve is installed incorrectly or is dirty, any condensate that forms cannot drain away correctly and this can lead to moisture and building damage.

Only fit the RV 2 external cover after the external plastering has been completed.
It is essential to install the supplied drip rail to prevent damage to the building and moisture.
Only mount the external cover on flat surfaces and without any warping.
Position of the external cover can be slightly equalised (slotted holes).

Recommendation: To prevent dirt from depositing on the façade around the external cover, fit a water-repellent plaster system.
