Safety
DANGER Ladders, scaffolding, step aids: Danger of falling when working at heights (ladder, scaffolding, step aids). Serious injuries/death in the event of a fall.
When working at heights, use suitable ladders, climbing aids, step aids or scaffolding. Ensure their stability. For scaffolding, comply with the Construction Work Ordinance BauAV and other national laws. Protect work areas against unauthorised access, falls and falling objects. Observe accident prevention requirements.
WARNING Falling objects: Risk of injury to persons below the installation site if the external cover or objects fall down during installation work or if the external cover comes loose due to improper fastening.
Ensure that nobody is below the installation site. Fasten the external cover properly using the enclosed mounting material (screws), secure it against falling and seal it to the external plaster using suitable sealing material. Sealing material is to be provided by the customer.
NOTICE Building and moisture damage if the condensate drainage channel of the mounting sleeve is dirty/blocked or if the drip rail is incorrectly fitted.
Ensure a clean condensate drain from the mounting sleeve so that the condensate can drain safely into the external cover.
