Permitted operation
Operation of the ventilation units is permitted:
- in exterior walls with a minimum wall thickness of 365 mm and a maximum wall thickness of 500 mm with sufficient load-bearing capacity.
- in closed rooms (supply and exhaust air rooms), space requirement/working space in front of the unit 0.7 m.
- with pre-installation kit aligned exactly horizontally and on the exterior wall: installation position horizontal (parapet variant) or vertical (soffit variants).
- with permanent electrical installation.
- with correctly installed external grille with drip rail.
- with RLS 45 K control unit(s). Operation with additional DS 45 RC radio switches is also possible (DS 45 RC only in combination with PP 45 EO).
- with 1 unit pair. Operation of RV 2 units in pairs is recommended. A single RV 2 unit can also be combined with an exhaust air fan in the bathroom/WC. Exhaust air fans with up to 60 m³/h (ER or ECA 100 ipro) are permitted.
- once the building is ready for occupancy.
- once all connection cables are correctly fitted and secure.
- once all protective materials have been removed.
- once all ventilation units and room air controls are correctly installed.
