Bonding the mounting sleeve

The mounting sleeve is bonded to the masonry using either PU adhesive foam or thin-bed mortar.

Requirements for PU adhesive foam

ATTENTION: Only use low-expansion PU adhesive foam.

Highly or normally expanding PU adhesive foam pushes the mounting sleeve out of position. Before use, check the material compatibility of the PU adhesive foam with the base material EPS.

Follow the processing instructions of the PU adhesive.

Requirements for thin-bed adhesives

ATTENTION: An absorbent substrate is required for bonding, e.g. bricks. Keep the substrate free of dust and moisten before bonding.

The drying times and final stability of thin-bed adhesives are highly dependent on the weather. We recommend the use of low-expansion PU adhesive foam.

Observe the processing instructions and setting times of the adhesive according to the manufacturer's instructions.
