Mounting stainless steel external cover (final installation)

The condensate drainage channel inside the mounting sleeve has a slope to the exterior wall. The drainage channel must not be dirty or damaged, otherwise the condensate cannot drain properly.

The stainless steel external cover is installed as follows once the plastering and painting work has been completed.

  1. Remove the plaster protective cover of the internal cover and the adhesive tape on the exterior wall.

 

  1. Clean the 90° deflection unit for renovation work and the channel.

    Stainless steel holder with drip edge

    Fixing screws, 4 pcs.

    Stainless steel external grille

    Fixing screws, 2 pcs.

  3. Seal the stainless steel holder with silicone and press onto the 90° deflection unit for renovation work, align and fasten with the 4 screws provided.
  4. Fasten the stainless steel external grille with the two enclosed screws.

Danger to health from mould formation due to building and moisture damage caused by incorrect installation or non-compliance with building regulations.

Ensure that the condensation drip edge of the external grille protrudes 20 to 25 mm beyond the external plaster/façade.
