Installation of RLS 45 K control (230 V)
Read the separately enclosed safety instructions for PushPull ventilation units before making the electrical connection. Follow the instructions. Commissioning only permitted by a qualified electrician with fully assembled system components.
Danger of short circuit/fire if moisture penetrates the control. Short circuits and fire can lead to serious injuries with fatal consequences.
Ensure a correct, tight cable feed.
DANGER Danger of short circuit/fire in the event of overload due to incorrect connection or connection of too many units to an RLS 45 K (serious injury, death).
Connect units in accordance with connection diagram. Observe permissible number of ventilation units per room air control/power unit.
DANGER Risk of electric shock if the 12 V extra-low voltage and 230 V are not or insufficiently isolated (serious injury, death).
Ensure a safety distance between 230 V and 12 V (SELV). Ensure minimum distance of 8 mm. Ensure a phase balance between all components connected to the ventilation system.
Risk of electric shock if an RLS 45 K control is installed within protection zone 0, 1 or 2 and penetrating moisture (serious injury, death).
No IP protection present (IP 00). The room air control may only be installed outside protective zones 0, 1 or 2.

- Switch off the mains fuse and secure it against being switched on again.
- Remove the frame of the RLS 45 K.
- Cut the power cable and connection cable to length.
- Wire the RV 2 ventilation units to the connector plug of the RS 485 bus (bus terminals) → Plug sticker and Connection and wiring diagrams.
- Insert the connector plug into the socket.
- Insert the RLS 45 K into the flush-mounted box and screw it in place.
- Fit the frame. When using a PP 45 HYI sensor, ensure that the sensor opening is correctly positioned over the HYI and that the frame snaps into place.
- Commissioning the ventilation system→ chapter Commissioning, setting parameters.
- Call up service mode and configure the system components.
Install the RLS 45 K in a deep flush-mounted box. When wiring several unit pairs/ventilation units, always use a deep/double flush-mounted box. Strip the connection cables sufficiently.
