Cleaning and care

For cleaning and care of the RV 2 ventilation unit, see RV 2 operating instructions.

Change the air filters when the filter change indicator appears on the RLS control (factory setting 6 months).
Always replace both air filters on each ventilation unit.
Have the ventilation unit cleaned by a specialist installer every 2 years.
Clean the ventilation unit with a dry cloth only.

Safety

Air filter: Using the unit in areas without appropriate air filters can cause serious damage to health. Breathing difficulties, infections, risk of suffocation, eye injuries due to smoke, vapours, fibres, construction foam, mould, particles from outside.

Operation of the ventilation unit in areas with the aforementioned substances is not permitted.
Switch off the ventilation unit, especially in dangerous situations (fire).
Never block the air supply.
The air filters are housed in the slide-in module. Only use authorised original air filters.
Dispose of the filters properly as they may contain harmful substances and allergens.
Wear personal protective equipment (mask).
