Permitted operation

Operation of the ventilation unit is permitted:

in exterior walls with a minimum wall thickness of 365 mm and a maximum wall thickness of 500 mm with sufficient load-bearing capacity.
in closed rooms (supply and exhaust air rooms), space requirement/working space in front of the unit 0.7 m.
exactly levelled with a spirit level and aligned with the exterior wall, horizontal installation position (parapet variant) or vertical installation position (soffit variants).
with permanent electrical installation.
with correctly installed external grille (drip rail).
with RLS 45 K comfort control for operating a maximum of 8 RV 2 units.
with at least 1 pair of units, operation in pairs is recommended. A single RV 2 unit can also be combined with an exhaust air fan in the bathroom/WC. Exhaust air fans with up to 60 m³/h (ER 60 or ECA 100 ipro) are permitted.
