WS 160 Flat: Front cover installation aid set

DANGER Serious injuries from falling or crushing if the front cover falls.

It is essential to install the front cover installation aid set to secure the front cover during installation work. The front cover is very heavy. Therefore always work in pairs. Wear a hard hat. Secure ladders/scaffolding and working areas. Observe the applicable accident prevention regulations.

Locking bolts

  1. Fix set of installation aids for front cover as shown.
  2. Attach retaining screw on opposite side. Not necessary before initial installation if the ventilation unit is on the ground.
  3. Remove the 8 screws that hold the front cover in place.
  4. Unscrew retaining screw.
  5. Remove front cover
  6. For initial installation on the ceiling or wall, remove the air filters and the heat exchanger.

To fit the front cover, proceed in reverse order. Ensure that the cover is seated correctly and no infiltration air can be drawn in.
