Cleaning heat exchanger and unit inside
- Cleaning interval: Every 2 years
- Switch off ventilation unit with the mains fuse, secure against being accidentally switched back on and position a visible warning sign.
- Remove the front cover → WS 160 Flat: Front cover installation aid set or WS 300 Flat: Front cover installation aid set. Note information on sticker.
WARNING Serious injuries from falling during heat exchanger removal.The heat exchanger is difficult to pull out. Ensure that you are standing securely on the ladder. Secure the ladder/working area.
NOTICE The sealing strip will be damaged if the heat exchanger is pulled out or inserted at an angle.Do not twist heat exchanger. Do not move the ventilation unit.
- Rotate holders of heat exchanger to one side and carefully and evenly pull heat exchanger out of ventilation unit.
- Thoroughly flush heat exchanger with water or soapy water, drip off and let it dry well.
- Wipe down the interior walls of the ventilation unit with a cleaning cloth.
- Carefully slide heat exchanger into housing until stop is reached (→ position sticker) and secure with holders.
- Attaching front cover.
- Switch on the ventilation unit.
