Features

  • Final installation kit for RotationVent RV 2 single-room ventilation unit with heat recovery, consisting of fan unit, plastic heat exchanger, inner cover, 1 x ISO Coarse 30% (G2) filter and 1 x ISO Coarse 45% (G3) filter, so that the air is filtered in both directions.
  • With the RV 2 units, a complete ventilation system in accordance with DIN 1946-6, including exhaust air units, can be set up via a central control system (RLS 45 K).
  • To achieve efficient ventilation, we recommend operating the units in pairs.
  • In certain system combinations, an odd number of units is also possible.

Special features

  • Flexible installation options thanks to various pre-installation kits. Positioned in the exterior wall, around the window or integrated into the window soffit, the RV 2 blends inconspicuously into the interior.
  • The innovative approach of a fan unit rotating around its own axis eliminates the typical switching noise of single-room ventilation units.
  • Turning the fan unit closes the air duct after switching off the RV 2 device. This function is similar to an automatic shutter.
  • Thanks to their extremely quiet and energy-efficient motors and excellent sensor-controlled operation, RV 2 units achieve energy efficiency class A+.
  • The fan unit can be removed without tools for cleaning and filter replacement. The two filters can also be replaced without tools.
  • The heat exchanger can be detached from the fan unit for cleaning purposes using a tool.
  • The devices can be operated in 5 different ventilation levels (15/22/30/36/42 m³/h) and in 3 operating programmes: continuous ventilation with heat recovery, cross ventilation and sensor-controlled automatic operation.
  • Flow-optimised external covers keep exhaust air away from the external façade.
  • Potential condensation is drained via an integrated condensation drip edge in the external cover.
  • Clear commissioning software and plug-and-play functioning for standard applications simplify commissioning. Settings can be saved and transferred to next controllers.

Mounting information

  • Mounting involves 2 steps:
  • Installation of a RotationVent RV 2 pre-installation kit.
  • The mounting sleeve is protected from contamination by plaster protection caps.
  • Then the final assembly kit is integrated and the external cover is attached.
  • No need to lay ducts.
  • The system requires no adjustment.

Electrical connection

  • When delivered, the unit is assembled and ready for service.
  • The electrical connection is made using a plug connection.
  • Connection to the RLS 45 K room air control unit via control cables.
  • The 12 VDC power line from the RLS 45 K room air control to the unit also serves as the control line.
