short description

External water-based reheating and cooling register CCW2 22NC for mounting in the horizontal supply air duct. Suitable for RLT 5500 MV4555H. Order necessary with RLT central air handling unit.

Product description

Ordering information

  • Order item as spare part under the following article number: E040.2548.1000

Features

  • Water-based reheating and cooling register for mounting in horizontal supply air duct.
  • Suitable for RLT air handling units with the same model designation (MV45xx H/V).
  • The connection side depends on the connection side of the basic air handling unit.

Housing

  • Monoblock housing in self-supporting frame construction.
  • The housing structure consists of aluminium profiles with thermal separators with polyamide spacers built into the profile (class TB2 in accordance with EN 1886).
  • The corners are made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide.
  • The insulation between the double-walled panels consists of 45 mm (70 kg/m³) rock wool, which results in thermal transmittance class T2.
  • Device classification A1 according to DIN 4102 (non-combustible).
  • The exterior panels are powder-coated in RAL 7047.
  • Inside: Galvanised sheet steel.
  • Smooth interior surfaces.
  • Electrical cables laid in cable protection ducts on spacers.
  • Generously sized inspection openings allow easy access to the heat exchanger, drip separator, condensate tray and temperature sensor for maintenance work.
  • Condensate drip tray made of stainless steel, all other components are made of galvanised steel, aluminium or stainless steel and are therefore hygienic in accordance with VDI 6022.

Panels and inspection doors

  • Thermally optimised panels and inspection doors made of galvanised sheet steel, thermally decoupled, powder coated for special protection against corrosion.
  • Double-walled sandwich construction of the panels with interior, non-combustible rock wool (thickness: 45 mm, density 70 kg/m³, building material class A1 according to DIN 4102 (non-combustible)) for optimum sound and thermal insulation.
  • On the operating side, there is a generously sized inspection opening for optimum access in accordance with VDI 6022, enabling easy access during maintenance work.
  • The inspection door is equipped with a pressure-adaptive seal to adjust to the pressure conditions inside the unit.

Coating

  • The coating on the exterior panels is UV-resistant powder coated in RAL 7047 and offers special protection against corrosion.

Rectangular duct connections

  • Rectangular duct connections in accordance with technical data.

Heat exchanger

  • The heat exchanger consists of seawater-resistant aluminium.
  • The fin spacing is 2.8 mm, exceeding the minimum requirements of VDI 6022.
  • To ensure unimpeded condensate drainage, the heat exchanger is fully integrated into the condensate tray.
  • Rigid supply and return connection leading to the operating side.
  • Pre-flow arranged at the top with integrated venting option.
  • Return pipe located at the bottom. For connection diameter, see technical data.

Drip separator

  • Integrated drip separator with flow-optimised lamella profile for minimal air resistance.
  • Placed vertically inside the condensate tray.
  • Installed in guide rails and easily removable for maintenance purposes.

Condensate tray

  • Hygienically perfect condensate drain in unit thanks to laser-welded stainless steel condensate tray.
  • Connection diameter ½".
  • Placed completely under the heat exchanger and drip separator.

Electrical connections

  • 4-pin industrial connector for connection of the integrated temperature sensor in the register to the unit control of the RLT air handling unit.
  • The mating connector is located on the corresponding RLT air handling unit.

Mechanical connections

  • To connect the reheating and cooling register to the associated RLT air handling unit, there are 8 threaded bolts on the air inlet side of the register housing (M8), which are guided through the corresponding guides on the supply air outlet side of the associated RLT air handling unit and connect the register to the RLT air handling unit with a precise fit and a tight seal by means of washers and lock nuts.
