Productdescription

geniovent.x 900 S BR-E-K3

short description

Decentralised RLT air handling unit in pure white similar to RAL 9010 with very good heat recovery. With enthalpy heat exchanger, connection through parapet, outside air on right, outgoing air at top, supply and exhaust air via rectangular duct, CO2 sensor integrated in unit. With app for mobile unit control system

Product description

Version

  • With enthalpy heat exchanger, connection through parapet, outside air on right, outgoing air at top, supply and exhaust air via rectangular duct, CO2 sensor integrated in unit.

Features

  • Decentralised RLT air handling unit with very high heat recovery for use in classrooms, nurseries, offices, doctors' surgeries, shops, meeting rooms and similar.
  • The unit is mounted upright on adjustable feet and can be fitted directly with a duct system for the supply and/or exhaust air.
  • On the room air side, the unit can optionally be set up for free air discharge and intake via a Topbox.
  • Supply air grilles with adjustable air guide slats are already integrated in the Topbox of the corresponding variants.
  • The variable arrangement of the connections on the indoor and outdoor air side, as well as the optional Topbox, allows the greatest possible flexibility for room-side integration.
  • The integrated automatically closing shutters for outside and outgoing air close in the event of a power failure or when the unit is switched off.
  • The generously dimensioned heat exchangers with their efficiency of up to approx. 95 % and the very low internal pressure loss ensure low primary energy consumption and high energy gains.

Housing

  • Design based on VDI 6022 / VDI 3803. High-quality, double-walled housing made of galvanised sheet steel.
  • The insulation is 20-60 mm and consists of a combination of special foams of WLG 040.
  • The acoustic insulation material of the interior insulation is made of normally flammable special foam of building material class B2 (DIN 4102-1).

Enthalpy heat exchanger

  • Enthalpy heat exchanger with virus-impermeable and antimicrobial membrane for 100% separation of the exhaust air and supply air flow.
  • Enables heat and moisture transport while preventing the transfer of gases, impurities and virus particles.
  • Washable enthalpy heat exchanger made of plastic (PS).
  • High-performance cross-counterflow enthalpy heat exchanger with > 80 % degree of heat provision according to DIN EN 13141-7 and additional humidity transfer up to approx. 66 % according to DIN EN 13141-7 with special membrane as a barrier for virus and bacteria transport.
  • 100% separation of the exhaust air and supply air volume flow.
  • Special two-layer membrane with a microporous layer and a dense, selective polymer layer.
  • The dense selective layer is impermeable to gas and only allows the absorption and transport of water vapour.
  • All particles, viruses and bacteria are also retained by this layer.
  • The microporous layer serves as a support layer for the active selective layer.
  • The microporous layer has pore widths between 10 and 60 nanometres and therefore also functions as a barrier for the transport of viruses and bacteria.
  • The average pore size and geometry of this microporous layer is smaller than the average diameter of 125 nanometres of viruses.
  • The enthalpy heat exchanger can be easily cleaned with water.
  • When using the enthalpy heat exchanger, no precautions need to be taken to prevent icing up.

Fans

  • Single inlet, highly energy-efficient fans with backward curved 3D impeller made of fibre-reinforced plastic.
  • Electronically commutated (EC) external rotor motor with integrated electronics and mains adapter.

Control

  • CO2 sensor integrated in the exhaust air (as standard) enables smart demand-driven ventilation operation.
  • The air volume is continuously adjusted to the actual air requirement – this enables maximum efficient ventilation unit operation.
  • Optional external sensors or higher-level building control system possible.
  • Frost protection function depending on the outgoing air temperature via preheater (for units with "E" enthalpy heat exchanger, the preheating register is an optional accessory).
  • All geniovent.x devices can be controlled via application using the integrated LAN interface.
  • The units can therefore be operated on the move or from home, e.g. smartphone.
  • Live reports, user administration, control and adjustment via tablet, laptop and PC.
  • USB connection as a standard feature for commissioning, control system update and service.
  • All units have several operating modes:
    • 2 automatic operating modes (Auto Sensor / Auto Time)
    • 4 manual operating modes (ECO exhaust air / ECO supply air / MANUAL / OFF)
  • Using the time programmes (standard and holiday time programme), not only ventilation levels can be selected but also functions set (e.g. night cooling, flush mode, motion detector mode) or times for demand-driven operation (e.g. sensor mode) chosen.
  • All geniovent.x units are characterised by an energy-optimised frost protection strategy that is adapted to actual requirements.
  • In addition, all units have a multifunction contact for controlling, e.g., an unregulated pump or operating, fault and filter change indicator or preheating register or supplementary heat register or external shutters or cooling.
  • Two input contacts (12 V and 230 V) are available for, e.g., safety shutdown.
  • Various inputs/outputs enable a control connection to other technical devices or switching points (e.g. unit release or fume cupboard operation)

Control system

  • Continuously variable demand-driven adaptation of air volumes.
  • 4 temperature sensors in the outside air, outgoing air, supply air and exhaust air.
  • 1 CO2 sensor in the exhaust air connection.
  • Up to 3 external sensors of different types (CO2, VOC, humidity) or push-button and switching contacts (motion detector, external start/stop, fume cupboard operation and night cooling and flush mode) can be connected.
  • Inputs for safety shutdown via 12V contact or 230V contact (e.g. smoke detector, fire alarm, differential pressureless fireplace).
  • Various inputs and outputs allow the a control connection of the ventilation unit to other technical building devices.

RLS 1 WR control unit

  • Supplied as a simple control panel.
  • Switching the ventilation levels, maintenance display, fault messages.

RLS T1 SYS touchscreen control panel, optional

  • Touchscreen control panel for geniovent.x units with control.
